IT’S TIME FOR COMMERCIAL
DOG WALKER PERMIT RENEWALS

Renewals will be sent from the Tax Collector’s Office in the San Francisco City Hall.

Renewals are done at this office only.

 

Commercial Dog Walker Permit Renewal Process
No penalty if renewal completed by 4/30/14

If you have already completed a vehicle inspection, you do not need to do this again.

1)      Pay for renewals through the Tax Collector’s office at City Hall: 1 Dr. Carlton B Goodlett Place, San Francisco, CA 94102

2)      Obtain Commercial Dog Walker Permit Renewal stickers at Animal Care & Control: 1200 15th Street (at Harrison). Stickers available after 4/15/14. Proof of payment must be provided to receive renewal stickers.

3)      Proof of payment is: Canceled check, Credit card statement, or Receipt from Tax Collector’s office

 

EFFECTIVE JULY 1, 2013

Commercial dog walkers with 4 or more dogs, limited to 8 dogs total, are required to carry a valid annually renewed dog walking permit issued by the San Francisco Department of Animal Care & Control.
Enforcement of this law will take place on all City property under the Department of Recreation and Parks, SF Port, and the Public Utilities Commission.
